The Story of RogueFox:

In the black desert that was once the capitol of ancient Ethosium, the Undying Phoenix fought against the Shadows of Corruption. The Undying Phoenix had only one purpose: to protect the Powers of Wolvennell. When she found herself losing her battle, she did the only thing she could think to do: she created a trap, that ensnared both herself and the Shadows of Corruption. This trap was a human named RogueFox. Drawing from the Powers of Wolvennell, she made for RogueFox a brain and gave him the soul of a long-dead human.

When RogueFox awoke, both the Undying Phoenix and the Shadows of Corruption were gone, and he had no memory of either. He was in the middle of a desert of ashes and just barely managed to find his way to the League of the Desert. There he was taken in and made a soldier. He was a quick learner, mastering the dual-bladed sword that he trained with. As a soldier, he was given the proper name of Miles. He also met a Marauder spy named Par, who entrigued him and confused him to no end.

Eventually, RogueFox was given the rank of platoon sergeant due to his heroic deeds in battle. Soon afterwards, Par was captured by the League. RogueFox often visited her in her captivity, though, preventing her execution. He never knew what made him want to help her, but he did all the same.

After some time had passed, the Marauders managed to beat the League. They broke through their walls and ravaged their city. RogueFox stood valiantly with his platoon until he was advised by his fellow soldiers to escape. While the decision hurt him inside, RogueFox did so, choosing to save Par instead. He did so narrowly, just barely fending off the Marauder assassin Essaux.

Once the attack subsided, RogueFox was given the Shadow's Bane sword known as the Desert's Embrace, and he, Par, and a few surviving soldiers went to infiltrate the Marauder base to get revenge and to save the remains of the League. Together, with RogueFox at the head, they stormed the Marauder fortress and killed many of their leaders, including Essaux. At the end of their assault, RogueFox confronted the true leader of the Marauders, Dazar. He was forced then to make a choice: would he let out the Shadows of Corruption and lose much of his strength, or would he let out the Undying Phoenix and gain power, but lose his soul?

After some heart-wrenching deliberation, RogueFox set loose the Shadows of Corruption and defeated Dazar. Upon returning to the League, he was given the role of Leader of the League and as such given the name Nineum-Nu. As Nineum-Nu, he went on many other quests, becoming a member of GreatBeasts and eventually saving the world twice from the Shadows of Corruption, which he himself had let loose on the world.
